Genera Games releases new version of Star Trek with Wrath of Gems

Previous versions of the title have seen players able to battle against each other in an array of weekly tournaments, but Genera Games have brought an entirely new spin to the title with the release of Wrath of Gems.
The update brings with it the introduction of a completely new feature, Alliances, which allows players to challenge their opponents across the globe by creating their own alliances.
This new social aspect brings with it a whole new strategic layer. If players find themselves the leader of their alliance, they must strive to find worth players based on their crew and fleet to join forces against foes. Building the most powerful crew and thus reaping the best rewards is tantamount to this update.
If that wasn’t enough, players can seek revenge on those who have previously defeated them, or track down the ranking of another alliance, challenging them to a battle.
The title allows players to interact with their favourite Star Trek characters, ships and races from both The Original Series and The Next Generation. With a selection of special packs and collectables, players must aim to evolve both their crew and fleet of starships to succeed.
