Shane McCafferty is the developer behind fun titles such as Starseed: Origin and Word Forward and he's returning to its roots with Alphapit, a word game coming your way on June 9th.

In it, you're presented with the usual grid of letters but instead of just linking them to make words, you have can move them up or down to cycle through the letters of the alphabet.

You won't have to cycle through all of them as each tile only contains a handful of letters but you'll have to use these to make the biggest words and clean the board.

If you can't find a word, you'll also be able to use powerups to help you get out of some difficult situations.

It's all done in a clean look and if you like word games, that's one to watch.
