Mobile giant Samsung has announced that after finding success with the GearVR, they plan to extend their line of Virtual Reality devices.

“We are working on wireless and dedicated VR devices, not necessarily working with our mobile phone” said the head of R&D for software and services Inajong Rhee at the Samsung developer conference today.

Rhee didn’t mention a solid timeline for any of the new headsets, but has expressed a desire to include hand and gesture tracking, although concedes that while VR is “amazing” the industry is “still at its infancy”

Samsung has also announced a new Gear 360 virtual reality camera, which will go on sale on April 29th and can capture 25.9mp photos and 3840x1920 high-resolution videos.
