Monster Hunter Explore is not exactly a surprise as the game was already released on Android but only in Japan. It seems like a worldwide launch is coming soon though as Capcom as soft launched the game in Canada.

This free to play and simplified take on Capcom's famous franchise seems to feature auto attack and other elements that should be horrible for some fans but that could potentially open it up to a whole new category of players.

Still, the fact that Capcom is trying to launch a new Monster Hunter game before fixing Monster Hunter Unite, a paid game that remained broken since iOS9, is baffling.
