Imbroglio combines elements of card games, board games, RPGs, and roguelikes into a turn-based permadeath challenge. You choose between various classes, each with a special ability and limitations of what cards they can use.

Much like 868-Hack, you'll then navigate a shifting maze of a map while defeating encroaching enemies, collecting stars to improve your score.

Imbroglio's unique twist is that rather than building a deck, the cards you choose instead form the tiles of the level grid. Standing on a tile lets you use its ability, and killing enemies upgrades that specific tile, unlocking new effects.

Imbroglio will be releasing for iPad and iPhone on May 19th.
