All eyes were on Nintendo when it launched its first social app Miitomo. Thanks to the viral nature of Miifoto, Miitomo's camera app, it's been quite successful at getting a lot of users.

But how much money is Nintendo cashing in?

While we don't have any official numbers from Nintendo, specialized firm SurveyMonkey has shared estimates on its websites.

The firm believes that Nintendo is racking up $280,000 a week which makes up to $40,000 a day. While it's nothing compared to what Supercell makes in a day with any of its apps, it's still an impressive number for a social app. 80% of that revenue is coming from iOS users.

Furthermore, SurveyMonkey is reporting that people are generally spending eight minutes in Miitomo and that one million players are connecting each day.

Of course, the app has been launched quite recently and we'll have to wait to see how long that will last.

Still, it should be a good indicator for Nintendo's first mobile game.
