While Telltale is focusing of The Walking Dead: Michonne and Batman, it has been teasing a third season for The Walking Dead.

Until this point though, we didn't know if it was actually coming this year or in 2017. In an interview with Mashable, Telltale Games CEO Kevin Bruner finally broke the news that you should expect the third season of The Walking Dead to premiere later this year.

We couldn't be more excited about this as the first season was sublime and the ending of the second season could be vastly different depending on the choices you made.

We'll let you know when we have a precise date for it.
