Between games like Zaga-33, 868-Hack, and Helix, Michael Brough is known for unique games with unusual lo-fi visuals and mysterious mechanics, and his next game Imbroglio looks to continue in that trend.

Brough describes Imbroglio as a blend of "roguelike dungeon crawl" and "deck-building card games". You have one goal: to survive in a labyrinthine dungeon that constantly shifts its layout.

Killing monsters will allow you to level up and become more powerful; as you progress, you'll unlock new characters to play, each with different deck constraints and abilities to craft strategies around.

Imbroglio is expected to release sometime this year on iOS devices. You follow its progress on Brough's blog.
