Six Flags is building a rollercoaster that you ride with a VR headset

VR is meant for so much more than gaming. It's obviously going to be one of the main focus, as it mostly requires a beefy PC, but its application in science, education or tourism (and that's just a few examples) are limitless.

Six Flags went ahead and built a rollercoaster dubbed The New Revolution with VR in mind. Powered by Samsung's Gear VR, it lets you experience a ride like never before.

You are still in a cart, being pushed around but this time everything around you and everything happening before your eyes couldn't be made in real life.

Instead, you'll travel to weird alien places and see a war taking place right before you.

The track will be exactly the same in the virtual and real world though, giving your body the sensation that you're really there.

It should open this Spring in the U.S:
