From failed race car driver to developer
iGP Manager's creation is quite uncommon. It was created by Jack Basford who tried to be a race car driver but couldn't due to financial setbacks.
Instead, he opted to create iGP Manager with a friend and it went on to be quite popular.
In iGP Manager you need to manage your own team of drivers and engineers and race against other players in real time. It also uses weather data to change the conditions of each race.
It was released in 2011 but has since received massive improvements. Lately, the game's engine has been rebuilt from the ground up to prepare for the mobile version, coming later this year on Android and iOS.
It can be quite an hardcore simulation and races can last from several minutes to a couple of hours. The game will also be cross-platform.
