The developers of RETRY are about to launch a game about hoverboarding robots
I'm okay with this
A pair of pals who worked on RETRY at Rovio have split off, started their own company, and will be releasing a game about hoverboarding robots later this week. It's called Power Hover and it's lovely.
The game is a behind-the-back auto-runner about a robot on a floating snowboard, as he weaves through falling rocks and grinds along rails. There are lasers and water stages and spinning bits and all sorts.
It's also free of free to play distractions. It's got a premium price tag of £2.99 / $3.99 and no in-app purchases in sight. Expect it on the App Store on December 10th, and other platforms down the line.
