Ace Combat 7 takes off exclusively for the PS4 & PlayStation VR headset

Namco Bandai took to the stage at the PlayStation Experience event on Saturday night to announce Ace Combat was making a return exclusively for the PS4 with additional features for the PlayStation VR.
The 23-year-old dogfighting series' last entry was PlayStation 3 exclusive Ace Combat Infinity in 2014, and a cockpit-based flight simulator seems like like a great fit for VR, but the most exciting part of the trailer perhaps is the part where someone decides to base-jump through a dogfight.
That's now how you dogfight, but base-jumping in VR would be possible the most exciting thing.
Watch the trailer. It feels like a mix between Point Break and Top Gun and reminds me we really don't do plane-fighty games anymore. I miss After Burner II.
