I'll admit, when I fired up newly-released pixel art battler FlipChamps, I wasn't expecting much.
"Here we go," I thought when I tapped the icon, "another lo-fi free to play indie game designed to bypass our critical faculties and jump up and down on the nostalgia centre of the brain."
But blow my cartridges, if FlipChamps isn't the most enjoyable and fast-paced timewaster I've played this week.
