Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow are all coming to the 3DS eShop on February 27th

Nintendo has announced that Game Boy classics Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow will all be coming to the 3DS eShop on February 27th.
They'll return in their original forms but there will be at least one big difference.
Remember trading Pokémon with friends using that annoying system link cable? You won't need to do that any longer.
When the three classic Pokémon games come to 3DS in February you'll be able to use the console's wireless communication features to trade and battle Pokémon with friends.
