Will the Samsung Gear VR go up for pre-order tomorrow?

A Reddit user has apparently attended a tech demo session organised by US retailer Best Buy, and reports the retail giant suggested a pre-order date of November 10th.

Samsung's mobile phone powered Gear VR headset could be with customers by the 23rd November. This new $99 lighter model is the first consumer form, and will replace the two previous 'Innovator' models that launched at the end of last year.

The headset is a collaboration with Oculus and was announced at Oculus' Connect conference back in September and should work with all 2015 Samsung Galaxy smartphones. The original 'Innovator' models were launched last year and works exclusively for Samsung's Note 4 with early adopters in mind, but this global release will bring the technology to more people.

This consumer model of the Gear VR is half the price of the original Innovator edition, the new unit also features an enhanced touchpad, and weighs just 310 grams.

We've reached out to Samsung for confirmation, but I think it's more likely we'll just find out tomorrow. No word on whether the pre-order will be available in Europe too, but we can hope.
