The bonkers cephalopod stealth game Octodad: Dadliest Catch now has release dates for iOS and Android. Plus, we now know that the game will also come to Apple TV.

The game is all about an octopus who has fooled everyone - including his human family - into thinking that he's an normal human. You'll have to try and keep up the charade, by trying to do normal dad things with you or squirming squid-like arms.

Unhelpfully, a mad chef is after you and wants to turn Octodad into calamari. So that's a pain.

The game's silly and stupid and can be a lot of fun. We liked it a lot on PS Vita, though we moaned at some annoying bugs on that platform.

Now mobile gamers can try Dadliest Catch, too. It's the full PlayStation and PC game, with an an adapted control scheme especially crafted for touch. It also supports 3rd party controllers.

The game will be coming on October 29th for iOS, and November 4th to Android. iOS users will need an iPhone 4S or iPad 2 or later, which shouldn't be an issue. An Apple TV version is also in development.
