Cavernaut is escaping the labyrinthine mines of iOS and coming to Android on October 13th
Careful how you fly
Cavernaut is a game about escaping the labyrinthine mines of an alien planet.
It could be said, then, that those mines represent the iOS App Store. Why? Because that's where the game has been stuck until now.
But we have news of its escape. Developer Jan Schoenepauck tells us that Cavernaut will be coming to Android on October 13th.
It's not exactly freedom but it coming to Google Play is, at least, a different set of mines.
If you're not familiar with it at all just, er, imagine Lunar Lander set in a series of cramped vertical corridors. Yeah, tricky.
There are lasers, floating bombs, and crushing doors to make it even hard too. Plus, you have to refuel regularly or face demise.
Cavernaut costs £1.49 / $1.99 over on the App Store so expect it to be the same price when it comes to Google Play next week.
Oh, and while we're on the topic, the iOS version of Cavernaut just got updated with native iPhone 6 resolution support.
