Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom will launch worldwide on iOS and Android 'soon'

Can't you be more specific?

Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom will launch worldwide on iOS and Android 'soon'

Rather than being specific, developer Hardlight Studios has decided to say that Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom will be out worldwide on iOS and Android "soon."

That could mean it comes out next week but it could just as easily mean it won't be out until the end of October. The word "soon" doesn't tell us a lot.

We're being told this because Sonic Dash 2 has been in soft-launch for a few months now and Hardlight feels that it has been tweaked enough now.

"After many improvements within the gameplay, the interface and the tutorial as well as on the tech side, we are confident that Sonic Dash 2 is now ready for a global release," the studio said.

Sonic Dash 2 is, of course, the sequel to the Bronze Award-winning Sonic Dash. The characters have been reconfigured in the Sonic Boom style and the play has also been mixed up.

As such, you can switch between three characters in order to dash, swing, and fly across the levels. Each character corresponds to one of those abilities so switching at the right time is essential.

It'd be great to tell you when Sonic Dash 2 is actually coming out but for now you'll just have to wait. We will let you know as soon as we do, though.
