A new Chromecast and Chromecast Audio has just been announced
And a complete redesign for the Chromecast app
Google has just announced two brand new Chromecast devices, one of which is a successor to the previous device that's circular and comes in a variety of colours.
The HDMI is now on a strap that clips to the back of the device, making it easier for you to carry it around with you.
It also includes support for 5GHZ WiFi and includes an adaptive antenna system.
The other device is Chromecast Audio, a smaller device that connects to any speaker and allows you to cast music to that device from your phone.
The Chromecast app is also getting a complete redesign.
The first of which is an improvement to content discovery. When you open up the app, you'll now see popular content across a range of supported apps, like TV shows, YouTube videos, and films.
The in-app controls are also getting simplified and you can now search via voice.
Chromecast is also now getting support in games. You can cast the game up to your TV and use your phone as a controller, using virtual controls and the gyroscope.
Both new Chromecast devices will be available from tomorrow.
