Google has just officially announced the long-rumoured Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X devices at this evening's press event (or morning for you US-based folk).

The Nexus 6P is the successor to last year's debut phablet offering but is developed by Huawei this time, rather than Motorola.

The 5X, on the other hand, is a true sequel to the original 5 which launched in 2013. LG is back to develop the 5X which will please fans of the original.

Both come with Android Marshmallow support at launch, as well as vastly improved cameras, fingerprint support, and Android Pay functionality.

The Nexus 6P and 5X will launch in October this year. We'll keep you posted with a full list of features and how much it will cost you soon.
