Google has doubled the maximum app size for Google Play
Double the possibilities
Google has just doubled the maximum app size for Google Play from 50 megabytes to 100.
This change is to support the developers who are striving to create higher quality apps and games for Android.
Users will also now see a warning when the app exceeds this 100MB limit - that's when an app requires you to download additional resources when you open the game.
So you can safely expect to see some higher quality apps and games hitting Google Play soon.
Also, if you're a massive Android fanboy, don't forget to keep up to date with all of announcements at this evening's (or morning in the US) Google press event.
