The sequel to massively popular real-time adventure Lifeline... is here. Yep, it's called Lifeline 2. How'd you guess?

The core idea of following a person's journey in real-time remains. You'll get notifications throughout the day that ask you to make decisions once again. And yes, you can still divert the them to your Apple Watch if you prefer.

But the story this time is far removed from what you experienced in the first game. Though it is written by the same people including Fables: The Wolf Among Us author Dave Justus.

Instead of helping out a guy who has crash landed on a moon this time you're aiding a young woman on a quest to avenge her avenge her parents and rescue her brother.

She's called Arika and she's up against forces that, apparently, not only threaten her own life but the entirety of humanity.

You will be making choices throughout the game that determine the end and the fate of the world. However, once you've completed a section, you can rewind (and fast-forward) to explore different paths.

Intrigued? We reckon you should be. You can purchase Lifeline 2 for £2.29 / $2.99 on the App Store right now.

There are no IAPs and you don't need an internet connections. Oh, and the first game came to Android so, hopefully, this sequel is on its way too.
