Terra Battle is getting a crossover event with Mobius Final Fantasy

Terra Battle will be be getting a crossover event with Mobius Final Fantasy in the near future.

This was announced during the "Square Enix Presents" broadcast at Tokyo Game Show 2015.

Mistwalker, developer of Terra Battle, then followed up by confirming this news on its website.

What we know is that both games will have event quests in which you can collect characters from the other game.

In Terra Battle, Final Fantasy characters will be playable upon collection. While in Mobius Final Fantasy, Terra Battle characters will be collected as cards.

What's wonderful about this crossover is that both Terra Battle and the Final Fantasy series were created by the same guy - Hironobu Sakaguchi.

In fact, Final Fantasy is named so to reflect Sakaguchi's personal situation back in 1986.

If the game didn't sell well then he would have given up on game development and returned to university - hence, it could have been his final fantasy.

Terra Battle obviously came much later after. Sakaguchi left Square Enix and founded Mistwalker in 2004. But the studio didn't push Terra Battle out until last year.

Terra Battle is available worldwide on the App Store and Google Play but Mobius Final Fantasy is currently only available in Japan, also on the App Store and Google Play.
