It's been a busy week for the PlayStation VR. Just earlier this week it was rechristened from Project Morpheus - now Sony has announced you'll be able to get your hands on its VR headset at UK game event, EGX.

EGX recently confirmed that the HTC Vive would be publicly playable for the first time at the four day event, but now you'll also be able to experience PlayStation VR too - with a few limitations.

Slots to see Sony's VR headset will be limited and people keen for a go are going to need to click the link here to head over and reserve spot with the demo at any point from 1pm UK time today.

Sony will have a big presence at EGX, with head of worldwide studios Shuhei Yoshida taking to the stage to celebrate 20 years of Playstation with a Q&A session.

There are some terms and conditions on the EGX website which you should look through to avoid any disappointment.

The most pertinent parts: 'Once you have your booked slot, please arrive at the PlayStation VR reception desk on the PlayStation stand 15 minutes before your demo, with your confirmation email, and be ready to show ID to prove you're the person who booked and that you're over 18.'
