EA has pulled Mass Effect Infiltrator and Dead Space from the App Store and will no longer be supporting either it looks like neither of them are coming back.

In a post on the EA Help site, EA stated that it "will not be supporting or updating (Mass Effect Infiltrator) going forward."

"We are focusing our efforts on developing new and exciting titles, as well as bringing new content and updates to existing popular games."

If you've already purchased Mass Effect Infiltrator or Dead Space, you can still continue to play as normal so it won't be long until iOS devices with either game are being sold for extortionate prices on eBay.

Third person

Mass Effect Infiltrator was a third person shooter based on the epic space opera franchise developed by Bioware. We gave it a six and said that it was "Fantastic to look at and occasionally excellent to play, but too cumbersome and frustrating to do justice to the brand."

Dead Space was also a third person shooter based on a massive franchise set in space but this one's more likely to make you scream than cry.

We gave it a Silver Award and said nice things like "Complicated controls can't stop Dead Space from entertaining with its action-packed gameplay and phenomenal presentation."
Curiously, the Android versions of both games remain unaffected. You can still purchase them from Google Play.

It's unclear whether EA plans to pull any other games from the App Store but we'll keep you posted.
