Avion Flight Simulator - A fun if slightly threadbare flying experience

Avion Flight Simulator is a motion-controlled flight simulator that aims to offer a realistic flying experience.

You control the plane using on-screen controls that mimic an actual control panel, and tilt your device to change direction.

It's a responsive and satisfying system that manages to let you feel like you're actually flying a plane while also making it clear that it's not quite as easy as this in real life.

Each plane offers a unique experience as they handle differently and have unique attributes like the ability to land on water.

The missions are also nicely varied and occasionally throw surprises at you, like a malfunction that forces you to land immediately.

However, it falls short in the visual department, with some PS2-era graphics and a barren world slightly sapping the fun. That being said, the lighting and weather effects are quite impressive.

Avion Flight Simulator may not quite be the realistic flight simulation you're looking for but it is a fun game despite some weak visuals and lifeless locations.
