Device 6 and The Sailor's Dream developer Simogo has released a collection of free short stories relating to its horror hit, Year Walk.

The collection is titled Bedtime Stories for Awful Children, and was written to celebrate the game's upcoming Wii U release.

The stories, which are inspired by Swedish folk tales, each take one monster from the game and transport them into a book designed "to haunt both children and their parents." Gulp.

In his review of the iOS version, Mark called Year Walk "ingenious, imaginative, and intriguing," handing it a Silver Award.

You can download Bedtime Stories for Awful Children for free here, while the original game is available on the App Store for £2.99 / $3.99.
