The Legend of Zelda meets The Princess Bride? Take my money already.
That's exactly what we're going to get, apparently, from Blossom Tales, a brand new pixelated action RPG headed to iOS this winter.
Blossom Tales is a fable narrated from grandfather to granddaughter in which a warrior named Lily becomes a Knight of the Rose and must go on a quest in search of a remedy for the King. He's been put under an everlasting sleep spell by the evil wizard, Crocus.
You'll play as Lily in this grand top-down adventure as you explore hand-crafted dungeons and whack bosses with your pointy sword.
There's a lock-on system that allows you to target a specific area of an enemy to hit which will come in handy when you learn their weak spots.
As you'd expect from a Zelda-like, there's a massive world to explore, lots of side quests to complete, and a ton of quirky characters to meet.
