Fallout Shelter will finally get an Android release next month
About time
It's been a while coming, but Bethesda has finally revealed when Fallout Shelter is set to hit the Google Play Store. It's August 13th, so you've still got a couple of weeks to wait.
The game is a subterranean city builder that sees you taking control of a vault in a post apocalyptic wasteland. You need to balance various resources, fight off bandits and infestations, and expand your underground home.
When we reviewed the iOS version we gave it a Bronze Award and said "if you're looking for something sedate and time-nibbling to fill in the gap between now and Fallout 4, it might just scratch that itch."
The game won't cost you a penny when it lands on the Play Store, and we'll be sure to let you know the second that it goes live.
