If you've not experienced the joy and wonder of first-person football, then you should probably check out the free-to-play We R Football on iOS.
A spiritual successor to the Facebook footballer I Am Playr, We R Football takes the focus away from one player and gives you control of the whole team.
You'll be tasked with managing your team, choosing their kit, and getting onto the transfer market to form the ultimate collection of players.
Of course, the first-person action returns, letting you take part on the field as a striker, using deft flicks of your finger to score goals from a variety of set-ups.
What appears to be sadly missing is the live-action cutscenes, in which your team and members of the public would hurl abuse at you after a bad performance.
But the game's still being worked on and added to, with updates being rolled out frequently, so fingers crossed the cutscenes will return in the future.
