Hypercollider 2 lets you watch the global death count go up as it kills you over and over

Hypercollider 2 is kicking my butt today. In fact, it seems to be kicking everybody's butt. That much can be seen due to the global death count that's displayed as you play. There have been thousands of deaths.

It's the type of arcade dodging game that seems impossible at first. Kinda like Super Hexagon and anything as hyper as that. But it turns out that your brain just needs to get up to the right speed.

All you have to do is tap left and right to keep a little pixel character jumping up a fast-scrolling vertical tunnel lined with spikes.

As you ascend, there will be bombs and circular saws in the way. You have to dodge them but this is made difficult as you can only jump at angles.

So: if you jump too far one way you'll hit a spike. If you don't jump enough times you'll fall off the bottom of the screen. If you don't judge a jump past a bomb right you'll explode.

In all of these scenarios you will die very quickly. But just as immediately you'll be able to start the game back up again to have another go.

Well, if you're paying the premium version you'll be able to get back into it right away. If you're playing the free version you'll have to wait for an ad every now and then.

So if you're serious about getting a decent score in Hypercollider 2 then you should get the premium version. You can purchase it for 79p / 99c on the App Store and Google Play.

But if you just want to see if you'll get into the game at all then the free version is also there on the App Store and Google Play if you want it.

Just wait until you collect one of those stars and enter Hyper Mode. That's when things get real (and the game blows your butt off).
