| G.I. Joe: Strike

G.I. Joe: Strike is essentially a movie-themed reskin of feisty two-button fighter, One Finger Death Punch.

You stand in the centre of the screen, and tap either side to bash incoming enemies when they get close enough.

Strike too soon and you'll leave yourself open for attack. And things get tricky when you encounter enemies who take multiple hits or dodge your punches and flip to the other side of the screen.

It's fun and frenetic, but all a little slow - and drawn out by the many free to play tropes, including ads, IAPs, cards, an energy system, ranking up, and abilities.

Ultimately, this speedy gameplay is much better served by the simple arcade set-up of Kung Fury.
