Mojang cancels Scrolls for iPad, ahead of 2016 server shutdown

Earlier this week, Mojang revealed that it had ended support for its post-Minecraft card battler Scrolls, and said it would shut off the game's servers in 2016.
That left the promised iPad edition in flux. But now, a Mojang spokesperson has told Pocket Gamer that development has stopped on the iOS version and it will not be released.
In a farewell post on the game's blog, Mojang said "tens of thousands of players battled daily, and many of them remain active today. Unfortunately, the game has reached a point where it can no longer sustain continuous development".
