When we first looked at Lumino City over two years ago, we had hoped that a mobile version would imminently follow the PC release. Sadly, it never materialised.

However, today State of Play confirmed that the game is coming to mobiles this year, and is aiming for a September release on iOS, with an Android version not long after.

The team has said that they're working on numerous tweaks and improvements so it better fits mobile devices, a platform they say is "the perfect home for the game".

There'll also be a Making Of app launched at the same time, which shows off what went on behind-the-scenes over the three years the game was in development.

It will include interviews and videos, as well as interactive segments to keep you engaged. We have a few exclusive screenshots of the app below.

The puzzle adventure, a sequel to the Bronze Award-winning Lume, sees your character, Lumi, hunting down her Granddad after he's mysteriously kidnapped.

We loved the art style of Lume, with our reviewer calling it a "fitting introduction to what will hopefully become a much bigger experience."

And with the PC version of Lumino City having been awarded the BAFTA for Artistic Achievement this year, it'll definitely be worth a look when it lands later this year.
