Silly stone age adventure game FIRE will club its way from PC to iOS in July
Firestarter
German adventure game studio Daedalic Entertainment has let us know that it's bringing a caveman puzzle-adventure called FIRE to iOS at the end of July.
It has you playing as a clumsy Neanderthal called Ungh on his quest for fire. He's instructed to go on this quest after putting his tribe's campfire out by accident - as said, he's clumsy.
His quest takes him across a historically inaccurate world full of dinosaurs and woolly mammoths. You'll have to use these creatures along with "Stone Age items" to solve the puzzles.
One screenshot seems to show a large reptile after Ungh has stitched up a large flesh hole in its back. Another shows a guy with glass bottle of soda that he seems to have chilled in the frozen wasteland around him.
Oh, and at some point Ungh finds a way to travel through time and into space, it seems.
So it seems the puzzles and many of the cartoon characters you meet along the way combine gross-out and anachronistic silliness, but in a good way, hopefully.
FIRE will cost £2.99 / $3.99 to buy on the App Store when it comes out at the end of next month. The game is already available to buy for Windows and Mac on Steam.
