While Sony didn't give the PS Vita much of a mention during its E3 press conference, Ackk Studios helped towards making up for it.

How? By releasing a new trailer and screenshots from its upcoming PS Vita RPG Y2K.

As we've covered before, Y2K is set in the 1990s and is based on the fears of technology going haywire at the time due to the anticipated millennium bug in the year 2000.

It has you playing as Alex Eggleston as he chases down a mysterious van that the internet communities in the game call the "Death Van."

That's the start of a wild ride into a multidimensional battle that Ackk Studios hasn't exactly detailed much of yet.

What we do know is that it will have turn-based combat, a "Mind Dungeon," and non-respawning enemies.

The rest you can glean from the trailer and new screens above. One thing is certain: nothing seems to be predictable and for that we can only praise the game.
