E3 2015: Ronin to bring turn-based vengeance to PS Vita later this year

Devolver Digital announced that it's bringing the turn-based action platformer Ronin to PS Vita during Sony's E3 press conference.

Imagine playing Kill Bill by turns and you've essentially envisioned Ronin.

In short, you play as a heroine (who wears a motorbike helmet at all times) as she seeks vengeance by assassinating five prominent figures in a powerful corporation.

There are 15 missions in which you'll have to sneak in and around 2D buildings in order to avoid being spotted while tracking your target.

If you do raise the alarm then it's not too much of a hassle as you can precisely plot each movement and strike. That's where the most fun seems to be had.

As this is a game that gives you a range of tools and abilities and expects you to experiment with them. You can hang from ceilings, leap with a katana, and hang people with razor wire.

There's also a grappling hook and holographic replicator (you create a clone) that can be especially useful when you're trying to escape gunfire.

Ronin should be out on PS Vita (and PS4) later this year. It's currently available on Steam Early Access.
