Nitrome's new game, about a frog with a devastating flying kick, is out now for iOS and Android.

Green Ninja: Year of the Frog, has you firing a black-belt amphibian in one of four directions - in an attempt to kick all the enemies on screen. You can't change course in mid-air, so you have to think before you kick.

Things start getting tricky as soon as you encounter floors you can't touch, blocks you can't latch onto, and explosive mines that wander across the stage.

Green Ninja

Green Ninja is free, with ads. But unlike most of Nitrome's free to play games, this one has distinct levels (loads of them, with optional stages if you get stuck) to work through, making it feel more like Gunbrick than Cooped Up.

You can go get Green Ninja: Year of the Frog right now on the iOS App Store and Android via Google Play. You should. It's rad.
