BeautiFun Games has brought its dark, painterly puzzle-adventure Nihilumbra over to Android at long last.

It's been available on iOS since 2012 and even arrived on PS Vita before it came across to Android.

BeautiFun was right when it said "it was kind of an injustice that [Nihilumbra] wasn't available for Android devices."

Well, at least it has put that injustice right at long last. But, what's this, there's been a change in payment model?

Yep, while Nihilumbra will cost you £2.29 / $2.99 on iOS still, it has a free to try payment model on Android. It's as if the studio thinks that no Android players would pay upfront for the game. Hmm...

You can download Nihilumbra for free on Google Play and play the first few levels with ads. But to unlock the rest of the game ad-free you have to purchase a £1.99 / $2.99 IAP.

Our reviewer called it a "gloomy, intelligent platformer [that] will keep you playing until the bitter end."
