Minecraft on PS Vita finally gets a female default skin

4J Studios has rolled out an update for Minecraft on PlayStation Vita that finally adds a female default skin.

Rather than the blue-shirted Steve being the only default skin in the game we now have Alex. She has thinner arms, red hair, and a ponytail. She also wears a green shirt rather than a blue one.

Not only, but this update brought a few more additions to the Gold Award-winning PS Vita version of Minecraft.

Most exciting of these is the added The Simpson Skin Pack trial content. So, yes, you can play as Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie in Minecraft now.

The other two, less exciting changes, are the ability to place shrubs in plant pots. And the music played in Creative Mode and menus now match the Java version.
