Two of the most promising Apple Watch launch games are now available to download from the App Store to your iPhone, so you've got them ready for the device's debut later this week.

Spy watch

First up is Spy_Watch, from Surgeon Simulator developer Bossa Studios. This game makes you the handler for a secret agent, who you send off on various risky missions. He'll ask you questions, which you can respond to from the Watch.

You can play this on your iPhone if you wish, and respond to your agent through lock screen notifications. But the game is designed specifically for the Apple Watch. You'll find out more in our preview.

Spy_Watch costs £1.49 / $1.99 and has no ads or in-app purchases. Grab it here.

Runeblade

If that's not your style, how about Runeblade? This is a condensed RPG where you use various spells and runes to fight fantasy critters. Everything has been streamlined and simplified to fit on the tiny Watch screen.

The actual game is played on your Watch, but you can buy special booster objects with in-app purchases on your iPhone. As such, Runeblade is free to play and available here.

Need more Apple Watch games? These are all the ones you can get right now. And these are the ones we're looking forward to.
