Fighting fans can now get Neo Geo punch 'em up Fatal Fury Special on their smartphones, with SNK's latest iOS and Android port.

This is an update to Fatal Fury 2 which ups the character roster to 16, adds a combo system, and makes tweaks the game's balance. It's still got that contentious system where you can hop between the background and foreground, though.

For this mobile edition, secret character Ryo Sakazaki is now playable from start. And there's an optional six button set-up with dedicated Special Attack and Line Sway buttons which should make life easier.

You can also play against a pal using Bluetooth connectivity but no word on controller support on either platform. Fatal Fury Special, if you fancy it, will run you £2.99 / $3.99 on iOS and Android.
