Fight with deflection in Rototo, an upcoming shooter on iOS/Android

In Rototo, you don’t have any weapons of your own.
You control a spaceship, fixed at the center of an arena, with nothing but a shield on one side and the ability to spin around.
As enemies come at you from all sides, it’s your job to deflect their projectiles with your shield, destroying them with their own bullets.
Some ships try to crash into you, while others stop and wait before firing their gun in an attempt to throw off your timing.
Just based on the gameplay video below, Rototo looks like one of those games that starts out slow before reaching bullet-hell levels of fast-paced, top-down shooting.
Or in this case, spinning.
According to developer Thoughtbot, Rototo should be landing on iOS and Android “soon,” so keep it on your radar if it’s your thing.
