Early buyers of Etrian Mystery Dungeon on 3DS get all the DLC for free

Atlus and Spike Chunsoft have revealed that those who buy Etrian Mystery Dungeon before May 5th will get all of the game's DLC for free.

It comes out for Nintendo 3DS in the US on April 7th (no European date yet), so there's about one month's leeway on that deal. After May 5th, the DLC will have to be paid for separately - ranging from $1.49 to $1.99.

There are five DLC quests altogether. The first three require you find a lost adventurer (Wanderer, Princess, Landsknecht) in the dungeons. Doing so unlocks recipes that apply buffs to your party members.

The new video below focuses on the Wanderer character class:

The other two DLC quests are repeatable. The first has you slaying Red Pookas to get a Golden or White potion for extra experience.

The second involves slaying the Gold Guardian to receive a Nugget of Gold fragment for extra gold.

But that's not all the announcements. Beginning the week of March 31st, an Etrian Mystery Dungeon theme will be available for 99c.

It has scrolling hand-drawn and 3D character art and plays the main Etrian Mystery Dungeon theme song. There are also custom folders.

You can see the theme in the video showcase below:
