Dark Souls creator From Software has anticipated people playing its PS4 action-RPG Bloodborne through Remote Play.

Revealed on the PlayStation Blog today was the news that you'll be able to re-map certain buttons to the PS Vita's touch controls.

The L2 and R2 buttons, which are used for the gun and strong attack, can be re-assigned to the bottom corners of the front touchscreen.

The two halves (left and right) of the DualShock 4's touchpad, used for gestures and personal effects, can be mapped to the two halves of the Vita's front touchpad.

And the R3 button, used for locking on to enemies, can be assigned to the right half of the rear touchpad.

You'll need to train your fingers to get used to this new set-up, of course, but apparently it's manageable.

Bloodborne comes out on the PS4 next week. You'll need it on that console to be able to use Remote Play and play it on Vita.
