PlayStation Mobile - Sony's app shop that offered a selection of tiny games on Vita and selected Android phones - will be shut down on July 15th.

And on September 10th, the servers will be turned off so you'll no longer be able to make in-app purchases or - more importantly - re-download games you've previously purchased.

However, it will be possible to keep playing installed games in the future by activating your device.

Vita users need to go to 'Settings', 'PSN', 'System Activation', 'PlayStation Mobile', 'Activate', 'OK'. On Android, you'll need to open up the PSM app and launch a game after April 10th.

PlayStation Mobile brought games like Super Crate Box, Rock Boshers DX, Rymdkapsel, Aqua Kitty, Out of Mind and more to Android and Vita.

It will be missed, if only a little.
