XMPT Games has teamed up with Mastertronic to bring DiscStorm to PS Vita this year.

It's an arena shooter that plays like dodgeball (sorta), except there are no balls, only deadly flying discs.

As you fling these discs at zombies and other enemies, they richochet around the arena, which means you'll need twitchy reactions to survive.

There are boss fights to beat, including giant eyeballs and occult priests. There are also costumes to unlock and achievements to earn.

As well as a single player mode, there's an online versus multiplayer so that you can satisfy any need to throw things at friends you might have.

Plus, one multiplayer mode lets two players have it out on a single console. Lord knows how that would work but, apparently, it does.

You can find out more about DiscStorm on its website.
