Spinner Tronic is out on iOS today. It's the game that Peter tried to play and well, mostly failed at, as you can see above.

The idea is to get a high score. Simple as that. But it's far from easy.

You control the direction of a spinner at the centre of the screen. It spins slowly on its own accord.

You have to tap it as it passes through coloured wedges to get points. The risk is that you'll meet an instant Game Over if you tap in the areas in between the wedges.

Some wedges require that you tap a number of times. Others have you tap and hold to get points.

Then there are other, slimmer wedges that either bounce the spinner in the other direction, or if they're red, will end your session immediately.

It's a tough little game that'll keep anyone entertained who enjoys putting themselves through pain for the thrill of competition.

You can purchase it for 79p / 99c on the App Store right now. It's also available on Google Play for free.
