BlastBall MAX is a match-stuff puzzler with enough of a twist to make it interesting. It takes bits of Connect Four and Threes! to create something that feels pretty fresh.
Each turn is made up of two moves. You drop a yellow or purple blob somewhere on the grid, and then slide one of the 4x4 blocks that make up the level into a new position.
You need to make chains of five or more to score points, but you don't need to make a match with every turn. There are special blobs that let you switch colours and twist blocks that pop up when you make a match.
It's a fun little diversion, although it's not quite as compulsive as some of the very best puzzlers out there.
