Above, you can see the new mobile interface for Extrasolar.
You can pinch-to-zoom on the map and photos and swipe through menus.

Not so bad, is it?

You can play Extrasolar in your browser, but a standalone app for mobile will be coming soon, apparently.

It lets you control your own rover, guiding it across the planet Epsilon Prime, bringing you back photos at each stop.

Interestingly, Extrasolar is played as a proper simulator, meaning that it runs in real-time. So, if you want it to travel a mile away, it's going to take minutes or maybe hours to do so.

The idea is to string together a narrative based in scientific research as you work for the fictional organisation eXoplanetary Research Institute (XRI).

It's an interesting exploration-type of ARG that launched in February 2014. Check out this website for more information, and play it here.
